It's come along way?

So here we are the Summer of 2010..

Start of the summer season is upon us and PVGR is about to get its first taste of tourism.

Hopefully it will be a pleasant result for the tourists / owners and hopefully all will enjoy the golfing etc....

I hope that the hotel takes off and The visitors / owners dont get too much disruption to their time at home (or) on holidays.

Any updates from the Locals on site would be much appreciated too!

Our first stay

Dont be disheartened...

I arrived into Lisbon with my wife and 2 children and got lost, ended up on the highest point of Palmela in a very nice and hotel and using their internet to find where I needed to go. Not a good start to our holidays I hear you say. Well, it got worse before it got better. When we arrived the complex was huge empty and it was midnight. Oh well there's my investment.

Inside, things we had confirmed as completed not done, thanks Larionovo. Really bad feeling at this stage 'please god let this get better'...

Next day, it did, but slowly......we filled up with food/refreshments from a unique little store called Lidl, 80% cheaper than home. Tried to research the area for restaurants and things to do and quickly realised that to the unsuspecting eye there really isnt much here at all. Oh dear, 'sure its only money'', I thought to my self, and, 'you cant take it with you', or can you? Then I realised that deirdre probably wouldn't be so understanding as the 37 degree heat was beginning to hit the kids as they swung out of their mother, who was possibly thinking the same.

We need find things to do and places to eat here fast.

We hoped to start this blog for all the owners as a meeting place to resolve problems and highlight things to do in the area for all. We hope it helps us all.
